I'm a painter living in San Francisco. I studied fine arts at San Francisco State University and graduated in 2009. My work focuses on the relationship between man and the landscape. I'm interested in the intersection of the natural and the manmade, and the beauty and tension found there. Influenced by everyday life in the city, my paintings serve as snapshots of an ongoing cycle of wear, construction, and replacement. They show our constant reinvention of the landscape around us, and the marks we leave upon it.
